Position: Director of Marketing/CMO
Dykema is seeking a principal marketing executive responsible for directing all of the firm’s marketing, business development, client relations and promotional activities in support of the firm’s strategic initiatives. Develops and executes strategies for business development, pricing, marketing, brand and name recognition, client service, media relations and internal and external communications and events. Leads the investigation, implementation and use of new marketing practices. Reports to Chief Operating Officer, with dotted line responsibility to Chairman. Qualifications include minimum of 10 years in management of a marketing and business development operation for a professional service firm. Large law firm experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Candidates to be considered for this position will possess excellent analytical, communication, project management and interpersonal skills. Must have highly effective demonstrated analytical skills related to planning, development and reviewing proposals. A demonstrated ability to sell new ideas and perspectives is essential to the position. The ability to exercise good business judgment and diplomacy in complex situations is required. Proven leadership and team building skills are needed.

Position: File Clerk
This is a part-time temporary position. Benefits are not available. Responsible for supporting administrative assistants with daily filing of documents into client files, indexing pleadings and other tasks as requested. One to two years of post high school training or equivalent experience required. Must have two to three years of related work experience, including familiarity with standard office procedures, filing systems. Must have attention to detail and accuracy, be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be able to lift and transport moderate to heavy (25-50 pound) boxes; repeated lifting, stooping and bending.
