Five Dykema Attorneys Named “Best Lawyers in Dallas” by D Magazine

Dykema is pleased to announce that five of its Dallas-based attorneys are listed as “Best Lawyers in Dallas,” in a special editorial feature in the May 2014 issue of D Magazine. D Magazine, with a circulation of over 60,000, is one of the leading city magazines in the nation.

The five Dykema attorneys listed in the 2014 “Best Lawyers in Dallas” feature are:

In selecting attorneys for inclusion in the “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list, D Magazine applied a two-step evaluative process:   

1. Each Dallas-based member of the Texas Bar was asked to submit no more than three names—two outside their firm, one from within their firm—guided by the following question: “Which Dallas lawyers, of those whose work you have witnessed first-hand, would you rank among the current best?” Self-nominations were not allowed.
2. A statistical analysis to determine the top candidates was applied, and an independent panel of eminent Dallas-based attorneys evaluated this list of finalists and made final selections.

For several of this year’s Dykema honorees, this year marks a repeat performance of an honor previously conferred. This marks the fifth time Bill Finkelstein has earned recognition on the “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list. Chris Kratovil’s inclusion is the fourth consecutive year he has been so recognized. Arlene Switzer Steinfield and Jeffrey Fine have earned this distinction three times each. David Schenck makes his inaugural appearance on the “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list.
