Robert Boonin Quoted in Society for Human Resource Management Article about Lawsuits Challenging DOL’s OT Regulations

Robert Boonin, Detroit and Ann Arbor-based member in Dykema’s Labor & Employment Practice Group, was quoted in the Society for Human Resource Management article, “Multiple States and Business Groups Challenge Overtime Rule.”

The story reports on lawsuits opposing the new FLSA regulations reclassifying the status of certain salaried employees to hourly. Boonin warns employers that these court proceedings may not be able to halt the implementation of the rules prior the December 1^st deadline.
