Brittany M. Schultz, a products liability attorney in the Firm’s Automotive Industry Group, has been welcomed into the Product Liability Advisory Council, Inc. (PLAC), as a Sustaining member. In accepting this honor, Schultz joins fellow Dykema lawyers James Feeney, Terri Reiskin and John Thomas.

PLAC is a highly regarded and very exclusive national association of skilled litigation counsel. To become a Sustaining member of PLAC is a special honor, as it is “by invitation only” as determined by the organization’s Board of Directors. Sustaining members are deemed “the best trial and appellate lawyers in the product liability bar” and are selected on the basis of being judged capable of making “significant contributions” to the association’s mission. To ensure the selective nature of this membership, PLAC by-laws currently allow for just two-and-a-half Sustaining members for every Corporate member.

Dan Stephenson, who directs Dykema’s national Litigation Department, says, “We are extraordinarily proud of Brittany on having been invited to join the Product Liability Advisory Council. This honor reflects not only her superb litigation skills, but also her ability to think critically about her clients’ businesses, offer strategic insights and provide consistently excellent business counsel.”
