William Frank Carroll, Dallas-based senior counsel in Dykema’s Financial Services Litigation group, and Cody D. Rockey, Ann Arbor-based associated in the Firm’s Antitrust & Trade Regulation Practice, each authored articles for the Winter 2016 edition of The Antitrust Lawyer, which is published by the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Section of the Federal Bar Association.

Carroll’s article, “Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa: The Antitrust Division Leniency Program,” discusses the Department of Justice Antitrust Division’s Corporate Leniency Policy for organizations reporting their involvement in illegal antitrust activity. He highlights the different types of leniency and what is expected of leniency applicants, as well as what is not covered.

Rockey’s article, titled “The Supreme Court Turns Its Attention Back to Class Certification in Tyson Foods,” discusses the background and oral arguments of the Tyson Foods v. Bouaphakeo case, as well as the case’s implications for antitrust class actions.
