Grant Gilezan, Practice Group Leader of Dykema’s Environmental Law Practice Group, is among the featured speakers at the 2012 Motor Vehicle Metals and Resins (MVMR) Conference, to be held on Thursday, May 17, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hilton Doubletree-Dearborn. To sign up for this conference, click here.

Gilezan, together with Sube Vel from Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, will outline the EPA’s new air emission regulations for PVC production facilities. Importantly, he’ll address the impact these new rules will have on capital investment, operating costs and customer/supplier pricing. Attendees will learn best management practices to implement these new air emission requirements.

The MVMR conference brings together thought leaders from the metals and resins industries who will share their insights into the state of the market. The March 2012 explosion at a German resins maker, and the resulting and dramatic shortfalls of nylon-12—an essential resin in auto production—is certain to be a prime topic at the conference.
