Gregory Lacey, member of the Labor & Employment Group and resident in Chicago, was a featured presenter at the annual conference of the Michigan Chapter of the Association of Occupational Health Professionals in Healthcare (AOHP). This one-day conference was hosted by the University of Michigan Healthcare System and was held at the University’s Ann Arbor campus on March 14, 2013.

In a two-hour session, Lacey discussed the application of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments Act in the workplace.  Lacey also provided commentary and insight on the uptick in Wage and Hour litigation.

Lacey, who spoke at last year’s AOHPH annual conference in Detroit, was invited back—by popular demand—to address this year’s gathering of senior executives involved in the occupational health of workers in the healthcare profession. Conference attendees included Firm clients, such as Oakwood Healthcare System and Henry Ford Hospital, as well as numerous other human resources representatives from hospitals and healthcare facilities in Michigan and Ohio.
