Bonnie Mayfield Serves as Featured Speaker at the 5th Annual POWER Detroit

Bonnie Mayfield, a member of Dykema’s Litigation and Labor & Employment practices, was a featured presenter at the 5^th Annual POWER Detroit conference on Thursday, October 23, at the MGM Grand Detroit.

Mayfield served as one of two panelists for “The Art of the Ask” presentation. This workshop focused on negotiating tactics. As a springboard for discussion and questions, the workshop used research by Selena Rezvani, author, Pushback- how smart women ask – AND STAND UP – for what they want.  Among other topics, the panel discussed how to approach and what to do during negotiations. 

Mayfield’s extensive practice, which involves litigation and negotiation, yielded a wealth of experience and tangible suggestions, which she shared with the audience. A skilled presenter, Mayfield’s comments were resoundingly well received and audience members said that Mayfield’s comments were insightful and on point. One audience member wrote to Mayfield, “I must reiterate that you were an outstanding panelist! Thanks again for the great insight around the art of asking/negotiating. It was just what I needed!”
