Stephen Tupper, Bloomfield Hills-based member and leader of Dykema’s Privacy, Data Security and E-Commerce practice, was quoted in the Detroit Free Press article, “Drone sales rising and so is the controversy.”

Tupper, who is the head of the aviation law section for the Michigan Bar, stated that it’s no surprise that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) wants to regulate drones, especially for commercial use. He further explains that it the FAA has had a very broad interpretation of what is considered commercial.
