Dykema, a leading national law firm, announces that the following members are among the top 100 Michigan Super Lawyers for 2009, having received the highest point totals in the Michigan Super Lawyers nomination, research and blue ribbon review process. They are:

Maria B. Abrahamsen, whose practice is devoted to representation of health care facilities and practitioners in corporate and regulatory matters, with emphasis on medical staff, reimbursement, and regulation of hospital-physician financial relationships. She is a member of the firm's Executive Board and was Leader of the Health Care Practice Group from 2000 to 2004. A resident of Bloomfield Village, Ms. Abrahamsen received a B.A. and a J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Michigan.

Patrick F. Hickey, who has over 25 years experience representing clients in commercial and employment matters in various state and federal trial and appellate courts in Michigan, and has appeared before courts and in arbitrations in other states, including Ohio, New York, Minnesota, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, California, Maryland, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. He also has extensive experience in arbitrations, mediations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Hickey is also a member of the firm's Executive Board. A resident of Farmington, Mr. Hickey received a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit.

Cameron H. Piggott, Director of the Real Estate and Environmental Department and Practice Group Leader of the Real Estate Practice Group. He practices general real estate law, with an emphasis on commercial and residential development, leasing, construction, public/private projects, master planned communities, complex real estate transactions, real estate workouts and foreclosures, and eminent domain. A resident of Grosse Pointe Shores, Mr. Piggott received a B.S.M.E., with high honors, from Michigan State University and a J. D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Michigan.

Joseph A. Ritok, whose practice focuses on union-management relations and the defense of employment matters before federal and state agencies and courts throughout the United States. He has appeared before the National Labor Relations Board and has tried cases in Delaware, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia. A resident of Grosse Pointe Park, Mr. Ritok received an A.B. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a J.D. from the University of Michigan.
