Jonathan Feld to Lead Dykema’s White-Collar Criminal Defense & Government Investigations Team

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced that Jonathan Feld has been named head of the White-Collar Criminal Defense & Government Investigations Team, effective February 2015.

Feld is based in the firm’s Chicago and Washington, D.C. offices and has extensive knowledge and expertise in complex civil and criminal matters, including antitrust, healthcare, financial and anti-bribery actions. He advises his clients—companies, directors and officers—in investigations and enforcements actions by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory agencies. Feld also assists companies in their internal investigations, corporate compliance programs and corporate governance issues, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and data privacy.

Feld has been involved in many criminal cases, both as a defense attorney and as a prosecutor. Prior to joining Dykema in 2012, He served at the U.S. Department of Justice as an Associate Deputy Attorney General. In that role, he oversaw prosecutions from U.S. Attorney's offices nationwide involving a broad array of cases including financial institution fraud, securities matters and environmental prosecutions. Feld was also an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, where he concentrated on financial and securities prosecutions and other complex white-collar criminal matters. He twice received DOJ Special Achievement awards.

Feld serves on the Board of Editors for the Business Crimes Bulletin and Board of Directors for the Lawson House. He has been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer® from 2011-15, an Illinois Leading Lawyer from 2013-14, and in Law & Politics as an Illinois Super Lawyer from 2005-10.

Feld received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, his M.C.R.P. from Harvard University and his B.A. from Reed College.
