WASHINGTON D.C. - Dykema is pleased to announce that Eric T. Fingerhut, Member and Trademark Practice Group Leader, was recently ranked in World Trademark Review (WTR) magazine’s WTR 1000. Fingerhut received a band one ranking in the publication’s inaugural listing of “non-contentious” (without court proceedings) trademark attorneys in Washington D.C.

Fingerhut is experienced in a broad range of intellectual property matters and has a particular focus on trademark law. His global practice concentrates on portfolio management, internet-related disputes and anti-dilution policing for a wide range of industries including the automotive, luxury goods, restaurant and technology industries. According to the research conducted by WTR, Fingerhut’s peers admire his “pragmatic, reasonable approach to trademark enforcement.” In addition to his law practice, Fingerhut is active in the intellectual property community having served in several leadership roles among its various professional organizations.

Rankings in the WTR 1000 recognize trademark law’s leading practitioners. It is the first and only standalone ranking publication that focuses exclusively on trademark practices and practitioners. The listing was compiled using three months of extensive research, interviews and correspondence with outside and in-house attorneys involved in trademark law.
