Moloney Elected to Council of State Bar of Michigan’s Information Technology Law Section

DETROIT—Dykema Gossett PLLC is pleased to announce that Jeanne M. Moloney, an Associate in the firm’s Corporate Finance Department and resident in the firm’s Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office, has been elected by unanimous voice vote of members to the Council of the State Bar of Michigan’s Information Technology Law Section. Moloney was elected at the section’s annual meeting on September 21, 2011. 

The Information Technology Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan is a cross-disciplinary practice area that is growing in importance as the use of electronic communications and exchanges intensifies both in the U.S. and abroad.  The IT Law Section endeavors to keep its members up to date and informed in an evolving and sometimes volatile legal environment.

At Dykema, Moloney focuses her practice on general corporate and securities matters, with an emphasis on public and private company mergers and acquisitions and technology transactions.  She has a Computer Science Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and interned at Microsoft Corporation in the Developer Tools Division.  She has also taught computer courses at Orchard Lake St. Mary's and has served as an instructor at Sylvan Learning Center.
