ARE YOU A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR AND DON’T KNOW IT?

Join us on Friday, February 27 and find out.

At least one in four employees work for companies that are federal government contractors or subcontractors. It should be easy to determine if your company is a direct contractor with the federal government, but not so clear for subcontractors. If your company is a contractor or subcontractor, it may have an obligation to have a written affirmative action plan along with other duties.

During this workshop, we will discuss determining contractor status along with the significant number of new requirements as a result of new Executive Orders enacted by the current administration and the US Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). We will also review what needs to be done to comply with the regulations that became effective last year related to individuals with disabilities and veterans.

Topics to be addressed include:

  • Determining if your company is a federal contractor or subcontractor
  • General affirmative action obligations
  • New regulations for individuals with disabilities and veterans
  • Executive Orders and new regulations issued recently
  • New reporting requirements
