Paul M. Laurenza, a member of Dykema’s Government Policy Practice Group and Managing Member for the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, authored the article "American Factories versus 'Made in America'" for IndustryWeek.

In the article, Laurenza discusses when a product can be advertised as “Made in USA,” which depends on much more than solely the location of final manufacture. He emphasizes the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) policy on U.S.-origin claims and also highlights recent FTC enforcement activity.
