Office: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
Position: Staff Attorney - Litigation (Products, Class Actions & Professional Liability)

Dykema seeks a staff attorney for the Products, Class Actions & Professional Liability Litigation Group for our Bloomfield Hills office. Candidates should have five to eight years of experience in the products liability and/or complex litigation area including extensive discovery work. Experience specifically within the automotive industry and e-discovery is a plus. The work requires strong attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines. Organizational skills and an ability to manage a heavy docket are required. Duties will include interaction with multiple lawyers at all levels and on both sides of cases as well as direct client interaction. Candidates should have experience in managing large volume document review projects using various e-discovery platforms, reviewing and analyzing large volumes of documents and other data to support and assist with the development of case strategy and the drafting of various motions and pleadings. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills are required. Admission to the Michigan bar is required.

Position: Staff Attorney - Litigation (Medical Malpractice / Insurance Defense)

Dykema seeks a staff attorney with a minimum of three years of litigation experience for our Chicago office. The position involves handling medical malpractice and insurance defense actions. Willingness to learn and handle a broad range of litigation matters, excellent research and writing skills, and strong oral communication abilities are required. The ideal candidate will have experience handling medical malpractice actions and insurance defense. Job duties include overall case management, contact with clients and expert witnesses, drafting of pleadings and discovery, document production, depositions, motion practice, hearings, trial preparation and assistance at trial. Admission to Illinois bar and local court experience required.
