Dykema is pleased to announce that Michael S. Kurtzon, Chicago-based member in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, has been named to Midwest Real Estate News’ 2012 Hall of Fame. This marks the third year that Midwest Real Estate News has assembled a Hall of Fame class; and the second consecutive year that Dykema has landed a representative in this select group (Cameron Piggott, former director of the firm’s Real Estate practice, was named to the Hall of Fame in 2011).

Kurtzon was one of just 73 individuals named to this year’s Hall of Fame class, from a starting universe of nearly 300 nominees. In highlighting Kurtzon’s nomination, Midwest Real Estate News observes that Kurtzon has “contributed his expertise to the most sophisticated and complex real estate matters in the industry.” The publication adds, “Kurtzon’s track record in ‘getting the deal done’ is as enviable as it is impressive.”

Kyle Hauberg, who directs Dykema’s Real Estate practice, observes, “While being named to the Midwest Real Estate News Hall of Fame is an extraordinary honor for Mike, it should come as no surprise to the clients he serves and the colleagues with whom he works. For more than three decades, Mike has drawn upon his talents and experience to provide exceptional legal counsel, insightful business advice and best-in-class service. This accolade merely affirms that which his clients have known all along: that Mike is one of the industry’s most respected legal talents.”

Midwest Real Estate News is the most authoritative publication in its sector, serving as the 'go to resource' for all matters of commercial real estate in 14 of the Heartland states.
