Ed Weil, Chicago-based co-leader of Dykema's Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Special Servicer Group, was quoted in the National Real Estate Investor article, “Special Servicer Activity Provides a Window into Assessing the Distressed Cycle.”

The article discusses the impact of the anticipated “second storm” caused by expired forbearance periods and its impact on special servicers.  The article also goes on to discuss strategies for borrowers that are forced to act.
