Miziolek Published in The Deal Magazine, "Speed Bumps Ahead"

Aleksandra Miziolek, Director of Dykema's Automotive Industry Group, was published in The Deal Magazine on May 20, 2011. In her article, titled "Speed Bumps Ahead," Miziolek discusses a few of the challenges auto makers and suppliers may face in the coming months as the result of increased regulation, globalization and the March Japanese earthquake. In describing the relationship between the automotive industry, its suppliers and its private equity (PE) investors, Miziolek explains, “now more than ever, financial, operational and legal due diligence in an automotive deal requires not only a sharp pencil and a deal-savvy PE team, but also a thorough understanding of the symbiotic relationship between and among OEMs and suppliers regardless of geographic location.”
