James M. Cameron, Jr. Appointed Chairperson of Attorney Discipline Board by Michigan Supreme Court

Dykemais pleased to announce that James M. Cameron, Jr., Office Managing Member of Dykema’s Ann Arbor office, has been appointed Chairperson of the Attorney Discipline Board by the Michigan Supreme Court. The Attorney Discipline Board is the adjudicative arm of the attorney discipline system in Michigan, and consists of six attorneys and three non-attorneys—each appointed by the Supreme Court—who hear attorney misconduct cases and impose sanctions, subject to appeal to the Michigan Supreme Court. Each of the members of the Attorney Discipline Board serves on a volunteer basis.

Cameron, who was first appointed to the Attorney Discipline Board in 2011, served as Vice-Chair of the Board in 2012-13. His term as Chairperson is one year, ending October 1, 2014.
