Victor Johnson Quoted in Thomson Reuters Legal Solutions Blog about Patent Venue Appeal

Victor C. Johnson, Dallas-based member in Dykema’s Intellectual Property practice group, was quoted in the Thomson Reuters Legal Solutions Blog story, “Supreme Court Might End Texas’ Preferred Patent Venue Status, Attorneys Say.”

In the article about the Supreme Court possibly limiting patent lawsuits to the defendant’s place of business or state of incorporation, Johnson comments upon the large number of patent cases filed in the Eastern District of Texas, and predicted that its preeminence as a patent forum might wane once the Court has issued its opinion.
