Naasko Guests on Legal Aid and Defender Association Radio Program

Recently, Heidi Naasko, Pro Bono & Diversity Counsel, sat down for a 30-minute radio interview with Deierdre Weir, President and CEO of Legal Aid and Defender Association (LADA), the largest provider of free legal services to the indigent in Michigan, and one of the largest such associations in the U.S. The interview was broadcast on March 16 on WCHB-AM, a Detroit news/talk radio station.

In her on-air interview, Naasko discussed the Firm’s long-standing commitment to pro bono service, outlined some of the areas that Dykema lawyers have concentrated their efforts against recently (among them, human trafficking and defense of death row inmates), and noted that the Firm—as well as a host of individual Dykema practitioners—has been honored by a number of organizations for its pro bono contributions.
