On July 15, 2013, Richard M. Bendix, Jr., member and co-leader of Dykema’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group, will be a panelist in a webinar presented by the American Bankruptcy Institute. Titled "Chapter 11 Track: The § 1111 (b) Election, Plan Feasibility and Cramdown Issues," this 75-minute event—part of the ABI Live webinar series—will start at 1:00pm ET.

Using a case study, Bendix and his fellow webinar panelists—among them, a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge—will explore a variety of issues that surround an under-secured lender’s decision whether or not to make an election under § 1111 (b) regarding its claim, plan feasibility and voting. The panel will also walk attendees through the necessary mathematical analysis used to evaluate these issues.

This webinar is accredited, providing 1.25 to 1.5 hours of general CLE credit in most states.
