Robert Franzinger Named Winner of 2013 Client Choice Award

Robert J. Franzinger, a member in Dykema’s Litigation Practice Group resident in the firm’s Detroit office, has been named a recipient of the 2013 Client Choice award. This award, jointly presented by International Law Office and Lexology, recognizes law firms and partners around the world who stand apart for the excellent client service they provide.

Established in 2005, the Client Choice awards are unique in that they are based exclusively upon input of senior corporate counsel. Participants are asked to rate individual lawyers and law firms on a variety of client service measures, including: quality of legal advice, value for money, billing transparency, effective communication, tailored fee structures, response time and use of technology. The research team conducts follow-up interviews with nominators and outside referees, and performs additional research where necessary.

This is the first year that the Client Choice awards have been expanded to include North America, identifying winners by state and province in U.S. and Canadian markets. In 2013, this award was conferred only upon 223 individuals in North America, representing 33 states and four Canadian provinces.

Franzinger is one of just four lawyers in the state of Michigan to be honored with the 2013 Client Choice award. Nationwide, he is but one of 18 litigators to earn this distinction.

Franzinger joined Dykema 32 years ago, and focuses his practice on complex litigation with an emphasis on technology-related issues. In recent years, Franzinger has represented several Canadian clients in litigation in the United States and also has represented multiple mortgage servicers in disputes arising out of alleged defects in the real estate foreclosure process.
