Dante A. Stella, Detroit-based member in Dykema’s Business Litigation Group and Leader of the firm's Discovery Management and E-Discovery Group, was quoted in the recent Legaltech News article, "Legal Tech’s Predictions for E-Discovery in 2020."

In the article, lawyers and technologists predict a whirlwind year for an e-discovery industry in flux as data footprints grow and the line between e-discovery and information governance continues to blur. Stella notes the distinction between "privacy by design” (limiting non-consensual use/disclosure of personal information) and “predictive coding” (issue-based coding of information) and how emerging privacy laws will change how predictive coding is used in e-discovery.
