Thomas S. Vaughn, Detroit-based member and co-leader of Dykema’s M&A practice, will serve as a featured speaker at The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) Anti-Fraud Issues | Litigation & Business Valuation Conference. The conference takes place on May 21 at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy, Mich.

Vaughn will co-present the session “Evaluating Due Diligence & Specialized Service Risks in Engagements,” which will define the due diligence process by identifying risks that can be insured, contracted or mitigated away and also share examples or risks specific to specialty areas of fraud, litigation, business valuation, and mergers and acquisitions.
