William W. Kregel, a Bloomfield Hills-based member in the Business Services Department whose practice focuses on financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions (involving both public and private companies) and general corporate representation, is profiled in DBusiness magazine’s first-ever “Top Young Lawyers” editorial feature.

DBusiness canvassed over 18,000 of its readers and practicing attorneys in the greater metropolitan Detroit area to arrive at this inaugural list. Kregel was recommended for consideration by Jeff Dalebroux, director of Dykema’s Business Services Department, and Brendan Cahill, leader of the Firm’s Corporate Finance Practice Group.

Kregel, who joined Dykema in 2006, is identified as a practitioner whose mergers and acquisitions work reflects his interest in the “art of the deal.” Kregel, who has represented large multinational clients and smaller privately-held companies, speaks to the accomplishment of getting a deal done. “There might be tough negotiations in any transaction,” he notes, “but in the end everybody shakes hands.”
