Dykema Attorney Honored As Client Service All-Star

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced that Stephen S. Muhich, a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, has been named to the BTI Consulting Group’s Client Service All-Star Team for Law Firms 2010. This elite list honors a select group of attorneys who were identified by clients for having delivered superior client service to Fortune 1000 clients.

In its ninth year, The BTI Client Service All-Stars 2010 celebrates 165 individual attorneys hailing from 112 unique firms. BTI conducts more than 250 individual interviews annually with corporate counsel at the largest, most influential companies in the world. They gauge market opportunities, probe changing client needs and assess client experiences with their law firms and attorneys.

BTI recently conducted hundreds of individual interviews with corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 and large organizations as part of their goal to probe clients on different aspects of their relationships with law firms, including needs and priorities, the law firms they rely on, and the quality of service they receive.

Mr. Muhich is experienced in general commercial litigation and employment litigation. He has represented management interests for over twenty years in a variety of forums throughout the Midwest and as far away as Texas, Montana, California and Hawaii. He has represented employers in numerous trials, arbitrations, and grievance proceedings and is the national employment counsel for one of the firm’s largest clients.

Mr. Muhich is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, and the ABA Subcommittee on Employment Litigation. He is one of a number of lawyers in the firm’s Grand Rapids office who have been cited by Legal Aid of Western Michigan for their pro bono contributions.

A resident of Ada, Michigan, Mr. Muhich received a B.A. from Albion College and a J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Syracuse University.
