Dykema, a leading national law firm, announces that Rex E. Schlaybaugh, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dykema, was recently re-elected to serve a three-year term as an officer on the Executive Committee of the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition (MAC).

MAC is a regional public-private partnership dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and economic vitality of Southeast Michigan. The organization encourages and promotes regional cooperation and develops collaborative relationships with community, government, and private sector partners. Its focus on public policy, advocacy, and demonstration projects – centered around infrastructure, environment and economic revitalization – creates opportunity and enhances the region’s image as a good place to live, work and do business.

A resident of Birmingham, Schlaybaugh holds a J.D. from the University of Detroit and a B.A. from Albion College.
