Lauren Phillips Joins Dykema

DETROIT—Dykema, a leading national law firm, announces that Lauren M. Phillipshas joined the firm as an Associate in the Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on general litigation, with an emphasis on business and commercial litigation.

In law school, Ms. Phillips was a Dean’s Scholar and Lombard Fellow. She was also awarded the Rakow Scholarship for outstanding scholarly achievement in corporations. Ms. Phillips received an award for Best Preliminary Round Oralist in the New York City Bar Association National Moot court Competition, Region 6 and won the Wayne State University Law School Arthur Neef Moot Court Competition.

Ms. Phillips interned for Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court and Chief Judge Gerald Rosen of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She also spent a summer working at the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.

A resident of St. Clair Shores, Ms. Phillips received a B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan and a J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University.
