Teresa Ereon Giltner Elected as 2015 CREW Dallas President-Elect

Cox Smith today announced that shareholder and highly-regarded real estate attorney Teresa Ereon Giltner has been elected to serve Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Dallas as its 2015 President-Elect. CREW Dallas is a nonprofit organization of commercial real estate professionals affiliated nationally through membership in CREW Network, providing opportunities for networking, education, leadership development and civic/philanthropic involvement.

A member of Cox Smith’s real estate practice area, Giltner is board certified in commercial real estate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She advises clients on complicated issues related to real estate acquisitions, leasing development and finance projects, as well as associated land-use planning issues. In addition to her extensive experience representing clients in real estate, banking and corporate finance matters, she also regularly assists the firm’s bankruptcy and creditors’ rights team on matters involving real estate, personal property and corporate finance.

Giltner has been a member of CREW Dallas since relocating to Dallas from San Antonio in 2009. She played an active leadership role in CREW San Antonio, serving as president in 2007-2008. She was the recipient of CREW San Antonio’s 2008 Eva Rosow Award of Excellence, which recognizes a member of CREW San Antonio who is a model of excellence to the membership and the commercial real estate community. Giltner is also a member of the Dallas Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and serves on the Texas Board of Law Examiners.
