Thomas R. Hill Elected To Dykema Executive Board

Dykema, a leading national law firm, announces that Thomas R. Hillhas been elected to serve as a member of the firm’s Executive Board, replacing Jeffrey M. Dalebroux who recently became Director of the firm’s Business Services Department.

Hill was previously the leader of the General Litigation practice group and also previously served as Office Managing Member of Dykema's Chicago office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, professional liability litigation, product liability litigation and other business litigation. He represents banks, finance companies and other public and private companies in contractual and credit disputes. In the commercial area, he has represented clients in a wide variety of contractual disputes, as well as Deceptive Trade Practices Act claims, securities litigation, and construction disputes.

Since joining Dykema in 1987, Hill has been the trial attorney and gone to verdict in more than 25 jury trials, as well as bench trials and arbitrations. He has handled appeals before the State Appellate Courts in Illinois and New York. He has also participated in appeals before the Federal Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit located in Chicago.

Hill earned a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago.
