Bethany N. Bonner Joins Dykema In Chicago

CHICAGO - Dykema Gossett PLLC announced today the addition of Associate, Bethany N. Bonner to the firm's Real Estate practice group in Chicago. Bonner is a 2003 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and received her undergraduate degree in Honors College, Political Science/Pre-Law from Michigan State University.

Bonner was most recently an associate in the Chicago office of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where she was a member of the firm's Real Estate department. She has experience representing clients in a variety of real estate matters including such transactional matters as complex loan originations, modifications, workouts, foreclosures and sales. Prior to attending law school, Bonner served for four years in various positions in the Michigan State Legislature including as Legislative Aide to State Representative, Patricia Lockwood, and as Legislative Assistant to State Senator, Diane Byrum. At Dykema, she will concentrate her practice in commercial real estate with an emphasis on real estate finance, restructuring, workouts and foreclosures, and leasing.

Bonner is a member of the State Bar of Illinois, the Chicago Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Constitution Society. She has also been named an Illinois Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine.
