Four Dykema Attorneys Named Southern California Super Lawyers

LOS ANGELES — Four Dykema attorneys have been selected for inclusion in the Southern California Super Lawyers 2011 list. Named to the list are Allan Gabriel, Ronald M. Greenberg, Daniel J. Stephenson, and Derek S. Whitefield of Dykema's Los Angeles office.

Allan Gabriel's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation involving patent, trademark and copyright infringement, trade secrets, false advertising and right of publicity claims on trial court and appellate levels. He is the author or co-author of chapters and articles on the trade secrets, competitive business practices and product counterfeiting remedies. Most recently the National Law Journal published his article, "Intersection of Patents and Trade Secrets: Often Precarious" in its December 13, 2010 issue. He has been listed in Southern California Super Lawyers since 2006.

Ronald L. Greenberg's practice focuses on business, commercial, wrongful termination, tort, insurance coverage and product liability litigation. He also has experience with appeals and both domestic and international dispute resolution. His certifications include: International Arbitration, Mediating International Commercial Disputes in Cross-Cultural Settings, and Master Advocates Program, National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He is the author of numerous articles, many published by the World Jurist Association, which also has recognized him through the World Lawyer Award.

Daniel J. Stephenson is Dykema's Los Angeles Office Managing Member. A trial lawyer and member of the firm's Executive Board, Stephenson's litigation practice focuses on the defense of companies in the pharmaceuticals, medical device and aviation industries. He is the author of "Commercial Damages Claims," a chapter in Michigan Law of Damages III, published by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education. He was named a Michigan Super Lawyer by Law & Politics in 2006, 2007 and 2009.

Derek S. Whitefield's national trial practice focuses on the defense of product manufacturers, business entities and insurers. He is the leader of Dykema's automotive and product liability litigation practice, and provides. national and regional counsel and representation to automobile manufacturers. He handles bet the company product liability, class action and trade practices litigation from the firm's LA office/ This is the sixth consecutive year in which he has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer.
