Robert M. Horwitz Joins Dykema in Detroit

DETROIT—Former Dykema Gossett PLLC partner Robert M. Horwitz has rejoined the Firm as a senior counsel, the Firm announced today. He will rejoin the Financial Services Litigation Practice Group, resident in Dykema’s Detroit, Michigan office. Horwitz spent the last five years as Chief Litigation Counsel for Asset Acceptance Capital Corporation, where he managed litigation, regulatory and enforcement matters.
 
With his move to Dykema, Horwitz returns to the firm where he began in 1994, and where he remained until 2007. At Dykema, he will once again concentrate his practice in financial services litigation, focusing on a broad array of matters for client organizations in the consumer finance arena.

"Rob is an accomplished litigator with extraordinary knowledge of the consumer credit industry and the legal challenges that surround it," says Tom Schehr, head of the firm's Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. Horwitz received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Wayne State University.
