Serj Mooradian counsels healthcare providers on corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters, bringing practical solutions to the legal issues that affect them. Serj excels in helping clients comply with state and federal laws while coming up with creative solutions through big-picture thinking.

Through his representation of health systems, long-term care organizations, medical, dental and other practitioners and their practices, and medical and dental service organizations (MSOs and DSOs), Serj is well-versed in both the regulatory framework and business environment in which healthcare organizations operate. Clients look to Serj to deconstruct complex problems and offer clients practical, workable solutions.

Serj advises on corporate structure issues, including entity formation, affiliations, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and forming practice management organizations. Clients also rely on his guidance regarding Medicare and Medicaid certification, federal fraud and abuse, nonprofit and tax exemption issues, state certificate of need and licensure, corporate practice of medicine and fee-splitting, and general corporate work.

Serj commits to knowing each client’s business, breaking down and communicating the law in ways clients understand and collaborating with clients implement strategies to achieve their business goals. Serj aims to prioritize and minimize risk and deliver peace of mind to clients.

A former pastry chef, Serj is used to providing exceptional service while paying meticulous attention to his work. He also manages teams efficiently and consults Dykema’s other subject-matter experts to address a client’s every need.
