Clients rely on Eric Tew for experienced guidance when facing their most pressing product liability challenges, including high-stakes consumer class actions, multidistrict litigation, personal injury claims, and federal regulatory issues.

Eric has briefed a wide array of procedural and substantive issues at all stages of litigation, and uses this experience to efficiently represent clients facing similar issues. He also frequently advises clients on the reporting and recall process before the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

For more than 20 years, Eric has defended major national and international companies in class actions and multidistrict litigation throughout the country. Eric has developed considerable expertise in the complex briefing that these cases require, including motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, Daubert motions, and oppositions to class certification.

Eric also has defended clients in numerous high-exposure personal injury and wrongful death cases, which often involve highly-technical issues and a variety of experts.

Eric’s product liability practice involves various products, including automobiles, trucks, medical devices, food products, asbestos, and sports equipment.

In addition to his litigation practice, Eric has significant experience in guiding companies through recalls before the CPSC. Eric also provides counseling on an array of other product-related matters, including regulatory issues, product warnings, and proposed warranty language and contracts.
