Allison M. Scott is a litigation associate in Dykema’s Labor and Employment group.
Ms. Scott represents employers and management in a variety of employment matters, which involve allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. Ms. Scott also creates employee manuals and develops written policies and procedures to assist employers in complying with state and federal employment laws.
Experience
Ms. Scott received her law degree from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where she completed a Business Law Emphasis, was the Editor-in-Chief of the Nexus Journal, and a research assistant to two law professors. Before law school, Ms. Scott received her B.A. in History, Law and Society from the University of California, Riverside. Ms. Scott also worked as a manager at a large movie theater chain where she handled several aspects of human resources. Ms. Scott’s prior experience as a manager provides her with a unique perspective on labor and employment issues.
