Beth Peng Lyden is a Corporate Finance associate within the Business Services Department at Dykema’s Chicago office. Ms. Lyden represents institutional lenders and borrowers in connection to various commercial and real estate finance transactions. Her experience includes representing commercial banks in all aspects of negotiating, documenting and closing of term loans, revolving credit loans, and mortgage loans to commercial borrowers, including not-for-profit and religious corporations.

Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Lyden was an associate with a boutique commercial and real estate finance firm in Armonk, New York. During law school, Ms. Lyden served as an intern for the New York State Department of Financial Services and for the New York State Attorney General's Office.  

  • Represented an institutional lender in all aspects of negotiating, documenting and closing of a revolving credit facility in the principal amount of up to $30 million.
  • Represented various financial institutions in all aspects of negotiating, documenting and closing commercial loans and mortgage loans to middle market companies and not-for-profit corporations, in the approximate aggregate loan of $130 million.
  • Represented an institutional lender in the origination of acquisition and construction loans to be converted to a permanent loan for a religious entity.
  • Represented an institutional lender in a single transaction involving the assumption, modification, and restructuring of nine facilities to a not-for-profit corporation to be used for programs funded by a NY State agency.
  • Represented multiple institutional lenders in the modification and restructuring of mortgage loans encumbering condominiums.
