Brittany J. Mouzourakis is a litigator in Dykema’s Bloomfield Hills office. Her practice focuses on complex litigation matters in federal court, with particular emphasis on class action, product liability, contract, consumer financial services, and warranty cost-recovery litigation. Ms. Mouzourakis has significant experience representing automakers in federal courts throughout the country, as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums. In 2018, Ms. Mouzourakis was a member of the trial team that obtained a full defense verdict on behalf of the defendant automaker in a three-week, certified consumer class action trial in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Ms. Mouzourakis is also involved with Dykema’s Women's Business Initiative and takes an active role in planning women's networking and mentoring opportunities.

Ms. Mouzourakis graduated in the top five percent of her law school class and served as the Managing Editor of the Penn State Law Review. She attended Penn State Law on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and received awards for earning the top grade in a number of her courses, including Legal Writing and Advocacy. While in law school, Ms. Mouzourakis taught legal writing to L.L.M. students as a Teaching Assistant, was a member of the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic, and a Research Assistant to Professor David Blankfein-Tabachnick. Her writing in the area of litigation strategy has been published in the Journal of Animal & Natural Resource Law at Michigan State University College of Law.

Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Mouzourakis clerked for two years for the Hon. Bernard A. Friedman, Senior U.S. District Court Judge in the Eastern District of Michigan and completed a Legal Fellowship at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics.
