Carrie is an associate in Dykema's San Antonio office. She focuses her practice on commercial and business litigation. Carrie is driven to provide superior service to all of her clients.


Carrie's previous experience includes advising various life sciences clients who are navigating federal or state government investigations related to the False Claims Act as well as qui tam litigation. Carrie also advised these clients on other regulatory issues such as the Information Blocking Rule and HIPAA data breach response and compliance. Carrie also has experience advising a multinational corporation developing an internal health and safety program based on federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as well as international trade association safety and health standards.

Prior to law school, Carrie spent ten years in public education as a high school teacher, educational technology specialist, and assistant principal in San Antonio, Austin, and Houston area school districts. While in law school, Carrie served as both an Associate Editor and a Senior Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review. Additionally, she was President of the Baylor Women’s Legal Society and a Barrister in the Intrascholastic Moot Court competition.
