Jen Flood is a government policy advisor in Dykema's Lansing, Michigan office, where she specializes in energy, nonprofit, environment, health policy, higher education, and financial services. She brings more than 10 years of experience and an in-depth understanding of the legislative and political landscape to the firm. Ms. Flood excels in the areas of coalition building, political strategy, and messaging. She has deep experience working with complex projects and issue campaigns that straddle the private sector and government at the state and federal levels.

Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Flood served as a communications strategist with a Lansing communications and public relations firm. She previously worked for the Michigan Senate, Michigan House, and the Executive Office of Governor Jennifer M. Granholm.  

Ms. Flood’s work on behalf of clients has appeared in the New York Times, Fox News, the Detroit Free Press and beyond. She has worked on several political campaigns across the state using her skills as a strategist and coalition builder.

She has a Master of Public Policy and Bachelor of Arts in economics from Michigan State University.
