Jennifer Warner is an associate in the Chicago office of Dykema. Ms. Warner’s practice includes representation of clients in an array of business and commercial litigation matters, including: products and premises liability defense; class action defense; personal injury defense; insurance coverage litigation; construction litigation; and commercial foreclosure litigation. Ms. Warner’s litigation experience also includes contract disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, as well as fraud and warranty actions.  

Ms. Warner has experience in both state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level, which includes all aspects of discovery and motion practice, as well as alternative dispute resolution including mediations and arbitrations.

Ms. Warner is also an advocate for those in need. Her pro bono representation includes inmate rights litigation, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) applications, and asylum petitions. 

Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Warner worked at a firm in Champaign, Illinois during law school. Ms. Warner graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois, where she served as an executive editor for the Frederick Green Moot Court competition. She also participated in the Community Preservation Clinic, helping low-income families navigate through the residential foreclosure process and serving as counsel for those individuals during foreclosure mediations.

  • Obtained dismissal of a complaint alleging violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act in favor of large electronics manufacturer.
  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of insurer in multiple insurance coverage cases involving the intentional acts exclusion.
  • Obtained dismissal of matter alleging violations of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act pursuant to the Supreme Court’s decision in Spokeo v. Robins.
