Madeleine Lee is a litigator in the Labor & Employment Group in Dykema’s Los Angeles, California, office. Ms. Lee is experienced in all aspects of litigation, from the development of case strategy, through discovery, motion practice, and trial. She has experience in adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court and has extensively briefed and argued appeals. Ms. Lee is dedicated to efficiently delivering quality results to clients, listening to clients’ business needs, and understanding the challenges they face in their industries.

Ms. Lee handles a wide variety of employment matters, including class based, single plaintiff, or administrative, and focuses on dispute resolution through litigation, arbitration, mediation or negotiation. Ms. Lee also helps employers develop workplace strategies to manage employment-related risk and develop policies and procedures to protect trade secrets and business assets.

Before joining Dykema, Ms. Lee worked as Senior Legal Counsel with a Fortune 500 financial tech company and delivered expertise in financial regulatory compliance. She also has commercial litigation experience in business and real estate matters.

Ms. Lee has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego and a background in econometrics, economic development, and game theory. She served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt, U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson, U.S. District Court of California; and the Honorable Erithe A. Smith, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California. Ms. Lee served as a volunteer deputy district attorney in the Trial Attorney Partnership Program of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office wherein she conducted two jury trials.
