Thi Hoang Ho is an associate attorney in Dykema's Los Angeles office where she focuses on business litigation. She has represented clients in federal and state courts in California and New York. Ms. Ho also has significant experience handling arbitrations involving cross-border disputes and has appeared before arbitral tribunals under AAA, ICC, and UNCITRAL rules.


Ms. Ho's substantive experience spans a variety of disciplines, including construction, real estate, intellectual property, financial services litigation, antitrust, and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy. She also handles challenges to visa processing times and USCIS decisions pursuant to the Administrative Procedures Act.

Ms. Ho's pro bono experience has included the release of a lawful permanent resident detained by ICE, and the representation of a client in contested divorce proceedings.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Ho served as a judicial law clerk and attorney advisor at the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, where she advised and drafted decisions on behalf of immigration judges on issues of removability, asylum, cancellation of removal, and other applications for relief from removal.

While in law school, Ms. Ho was a Senior Editor for the UCLA Law Review and the Chief Production Editor for the UCLA Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs.

Ms. Ho's specific experience has included:

  • Representation of major chemical producer in suits across the United States;
  • Representation of sovereign states and intergovernmental bodies in arbitrations involving commercial disputes;
  • Defense of major commodities dealer in antitrust class action concerning the warehousing of metals;
  • Investigation of major oil refining company on behalf of its independent directors
