Experience

Conflict resolution and negotiation are crucial skills Zack has honed over nearly a decade in public service. Having spent three years on active duty in the United States Army as an infantryman and nearly seven years as an Indiana State trooper, Zack's perspective is unique. His training and experience have helped him understand people in a way that is practical and empathetic. By applying lessons learned in combat in Iraq and as a trooper, Zack thrives in even the most chaotic situations with sound judgment and a calming demeanor to help bring about well-reasoned and desirable outcomes.

Real estate is also a burgeoning portion of Zack's practice. Prior to joining Dykema, Zack worked as a banking litigation and real estate associate at a mid-size firm in Chicago. Real estate investors and developers rely on him to negotiate purchase and sale agreements, structure lease transactions, and navigate the political and legal nuances encountered during municipal zoning and permitting applications. In workout matters, Zack leveraged his knowledge and life experience to thoughtfully counsel clients.
