Dykema’s 2020 Employer Outlook: Analysis of Workplace Challenges and Response to the “New Normal”

With increased commitment, many employers are addressing diversity and inclusion issues in their workplaces. One area that has received much attention is the concept of sensitizing the workforce to implicit bias to help eliminate discrimination. As a consequence, many employers have been focusing on implicit bias training. Very recently, an Executive Order was implemented that greatly circumscribes such training. This webinar will focus on what diversity and inclusion means, the legal background of D&I efforts, how it may be used effectively in the workplace and the importance of diverse and inclusive workplace communications. The webinar will also briefly review the concept of implicit bias and the effect of the recent Executive Order on employers.
