Samuel J. Miller, Los Angeles-based senior counsel in Dykema’s Corporate Finance Group, authored the article, “Supply Agreements: A contractual approach to supplier risk management,” for Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

In the article, Miller point out how carefully crafting the contractual terms can help to effectively manage risk in supply agreements. He highlights regular inventory forecasts, customer buy-in, agreeing on holding periods, termination provisions, and other examples of  how a well-drafted supply agreement can help mitigate inventory and price risk.
