Virtual Open Meetings During The Pandemic

Bloomfield Hills-based Dykema attorneys Stephen R. Estey, Lauren A. Evers and Peter M. Grace, co-authored the article, “Virtual Open Meetings During The Pandemic,” for Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

The article discusses potential pitfalls of orders and decisions made by municipalities, developers and other stakeholders during such virtual meetings that could lead to legal disputes later. The article goes on to discuss the importance of adhering to requirements for virtual meetings as outlined in the state’s executive order and other pending legislation relative to the same.
