Todd Schebor will serve as a featured speaker for the Half Moon Seminar’s AI Data Centers in Michigan: Electric Utility Regulation, Siting, and Environmental Law webinar on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Schebor will present the session, “AI Data Centers and Michigan’s Legal and Energy Landscape.”

Schebor’s session will explore why Michigan is emerging as a hub for AI and hyperscale data centers, explain how AI energy loads differ from traditional industrial users, and outline the key regulatory players shaping development. It will also examine the legal, energy, and public policy considerations surrounding grid capacity, Great Lakes water use, noise, air emissions, and land use impacts.
